You may have seen from previous posts that we had a rather busy February half term. In light of this we have had a new risk assessment undertaken at the museum to ensure we are keeping all our guests and volunteer team safe and comfortable during busy periods.
Based on the results of the assessment we will be capping visitor figures within the building during the holidays and then operating a ‘one in-one out’ policy. This may result in queuing at certain times and may be frustrating to those who are used to coming straight in. The reason for the cap is to ensure we can get everyone out safely in the event of an emergency.
We hope you understand that you are our first priority and we want everyone to have an enjoyable and safe experience while they are with us.
We will be open for Easter on the 3rd, 5th, 10th and 12th of April with free entry.
Many thanks, the museum team.
